12 volt starter 8M6007284 is used on select 35-55hp Chrysler/US Marine outboards. Replaces OEM starters: CHRYSLER MARINE 48-0955, -9955, 49-0955, 61-6955, A85955. Robust construction featuring high-temperature epoxy armatures provides strength to secure and insulate wires from corrosion. Permanent magnet design for high reliability, more torque and longer unit life. Units built with 90/10 copper bushings or heavy duty needle bearings for prolonged and dependable life. Meets Marine SAEJ1171 certification. Check your owner's manual or service manual for specific application and installation instructions.
