Thermostat 991551T1 is L98for 1998 and newer MerCruiser marinized V-6 and V-8 engines made by General Motors using closed cooling systems and requiring the use of the 160 F degree thermostat. The kit includes the thermostat and seal.

Easy to replace with common tools. See your owner's manual for removal of non-functioning thermostat and replacement of new thermostat.
