Our stainless steel D-Plate offers an economical solution for replacing the catalytic converter in models such as the GP1200R, GP1300R, XL1200, and XLT1200LTD. This plate replicates the one used by Yamaha in countries where a catalytic converter isn’t mandated.

By eliminating the catalytic converter, engine bay temperatures are reduced, engine performance is enhanced, and you have the flexibility to use standard 2-stroke oil.

However, due to its impact on emission tests, this product is strictly for competition use only.

For models equipped with an OEM CDI and a catalytic converter, we include our Cat Temp Sensor Chip. This chip is engineered to duplicate the signal from the catalytic converter’s temperature probe to the OEM CDI, preventing issues such as CDI flutters, the triggering of warning devices, and engine shutdowns related to the removal of the catalytic converter.
